About Me
I have always had a passion for people, working to understand their needs and wants, and supporting them to achieve their aims.
Before embarking in my counselling work, I spent 28 years in business and marketing. Here, my passion channelled itself in insightful listening to gain understanding about my customers, what they care about, what they want and their motivations. And in developing my teams and colleagues enabling them to achieve their personal goals and overcome the challenges that they may face.
I made the decision to re-qualify as a counsellor because I believe in the power of talking therapy and how empowering it can be. It can transform lives, improve the way we feel about ourselves, and help our relationships and the way we relate to people for the better.
As a professionally trained Psychodynamic Counsellor, I believe that to understand more about the feelings you are experiencing we need to look at the influence of the past on the present. By understanding some of the unconscious processes at play, identifying patterns of behaviour that may be repeating, you can understand more about yourself, discover what you want and find the right path for you to move forward.
